That’s right, I play competitive dodgeball! I’ve visited over numerous states and countries to compete versus the best in the world. I was fortunate enough to represent the United States in the World Dodgeball Federation’s 2016 World Championships held in Melbourne, Australia, where we earned a bronze medal. Dodgeball has not only given me the opportunity to travel and see the world, but to cultivate lifetime friendships.

I didn’t always see a career path in art, luckily, that changed while working at Children’s Hospitals of Minnesota & pursuing a career in medicine. There were a few events that took place that changed my perspective on healthcare, and I found myself turning to painting as a stress relief. At the time, being an avid sneaker collector & it was serendipitous that sneakers became my preferred canvas. I’ve been fortunate enough to paint over 100 pairs of shoes and have my art walking all over town!

I currently work on an in-house creative team as a full-time graphic designer / photographer and freelance part-time. I love that I rarely work the same day twice and always look forward to the unique creative challenges ahead.
